Experience Costa Rica's Wildest Side
Wildlife Refuge Caņo Negro RAMSAR is one of the few areas that remain in the country and, because of its condition, it is undeniably one of the best places to observe migratory birds. We can also find a large variety of reptiles.
See other tours by JAZON.
The tour we are offering will allow you to enjoy the majesty of flora and fauna. This will be carried out from a fully equipped boat and with the support of a local guide that will show us the beauty of the place. Frio River
is another attraction that we could visit and, if we are lucky, we coud observe the needlefish (Gaspar), which is an endemic fish of the place.
Caņo Negro is the best place to enjoy nature with the family, or in a group or to study the big amount of birds, reptiles and mammals that can be found in the refuge. Reptiles like "guajipal" alligator are common and can easily be seen.
When we come back to town, we could enjoy a delicious lunch having the company of a farmer family. Lunch will be prepared specially for us.
Tour begins in Caņo Negro's pier and ends in the same place but returning from another way.
